Last week as I finished my DKNY Be Delicious, I decided that I wanted to try a new perfume for work (smelling sweet is a must at Fragrance Mad as you can imagine!). I wanted something light, floral, not too overpowering and definitely not too expensive. I decided to give the Beckham Signature for Women a try, and I am definitely not disappointed.

It’s a really feminine fragrance without being too pretty, and is subtle enough to wear to work. I’ve had loads of compliments that I smell nice already! What really struck me though is that it is quite similar to Britney Spears Fantasy, but with a slightly more floral and vanillary tone. As Fantasy is one of our top sellers I thought I should tip you all off ready for the next time you fancy a bit of a change!  

My new fragrance for work - Beckham Signature

Last month saw the release of British supermodel Kate Moss’s latest fragrance Vintage. The bottle is styled in the same way as perfume bottles from the 1920s and 1930s, to give it a truly ‘Vintage’ appeal. Talking about the inspiration behind the latest perfume in her fragrance line, Kate said:

“I am fascinated by vintage pieces because they not only have a remarkable beauty but also an innate sense of history – I love the fact that each object has its own story to tell. And yet vintage items can be reinvented with a modern twist to make them very fresh and relevant today. That’s why vintage looks have inspired my personal style, my work as a fashion designer and, now, my fragrance.”

Following hot on the heels of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, multi-award winning singer Beyonce is set to turn her hand to the fragrance world, this time in a partnership with world-renowned perfume experts Coty.

The as-yet-unnamed fragrance will be in US stores in early 2010, with the UK following behind later in the year. Believing to have never found the perfect scent that truly personifies her, Beyonce said she “can’t wait to share this personal side of (herself) with fans across the world.”
